The mission of the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce is to promote economic prosperity, serve as a business advocate, and celebrate the achievements of our region.  We hope to achieve this mission through our Strategic Plan by:

1. Stimulating member engagement and interaction to bring value to chamber membership;
2. Partnering with local and regional economic development groups to promote business retention, expansion and development;
3. Effectively influencing public policy for the benefit of the local business community;
4. Being a strong advocate for education excellence at all levels including workforce development and training;
5. Proactively communicating with stakeholders to foster a positive image for our Chamber, community and region; and
6. Optimizing financial and human resources to ensure a vital and effective Chamber.
